This forty-four minute electro-acoustic sound montage was created by John Mingay during January to July 2012 exclusively using treated samples from the creative commons site ccmixter.org . Through its combinations of ambience, minimalism and field recordings, it takes the listener on a journey of aural curiosity, evoking anticipation for the unexpected. Sometimes using the natural sounds of musical instruments, sometimes not, it blends the ordinary with the exotic to stir the emotions, yet relax the soul. In short, it's good old-fashioned hippy-shit born of this millennium.
